University Counsel, General and Healthcare Litigation

Diana Kreinman Rodgers joined the Office of the General Counsel in January, 2019.  Ms. Rodgers manages and provides strategic advice to the University regarding threatened and ongoing litigation, including healthcare, mass tort, and sexual abuse matters.

Prior to joining USC, Ms. Rodgers worked for leading Los Angeles law firms where her practice included representing attorneys and law firms in complex, high exposure legal malpractice litigation.  She also represented healthcare providers and governmental agencies in medical malpractice, commercial, and tort litigation.  Ms. Rodgers has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery, mediation, arbitration, and trial.

Ms. Rodgers received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1989, and her J.D. from Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 1994.  She is a member of the California State Bar and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.  Ms. Rodgers served two terms on the Alumni Board of McGeorge School of Law, and two terms on the Board of Trustees of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.  She is a member of the Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, LACBA’s President’s Ad Hoc Committee on the Status of Women in the Legal Profession, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.

Ms. Rodgers is a third-generation Angelino and life-long Trojan fan.  She lives in Los Angeles with her family.
