University Counsel III, Keck Medicine of USC
Alicia C. Anderson joined the Office of the General Counsel in March 2022. Ms. Anderson manages litigation and provides advice and counsel on a wide variety of labor and employment issues for the University’s healthcare system, Keck Medicine of USC.
Prior to joining USC, Ms. Anderson was counsel in the Labor & Employment Group at Nixon Peabody LLP, where she represented employers in a variety of industries, with a particular focus on healthcare. Ms. Anderson has extensive experience managing employment litigation in state and federal courts, before government agencies, and in arbitration. She represented clients before the NLRB, provided strategic advice and counsel on labor and employment issues, and supported corporate legal teams in transactions involving healthcare providers. Ms. Anderson is also on the board of CASA of Los Angeles.
Ms. Anderson graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communication. Ms. Anderson earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School.
