The OGC provides legal support to various departments on issues relating to:
- Complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation: the Office for Equity, Equal Opportunity, and Title IX (EEO-TIX) is responsible for promptly and appropriately addressing reports of discrimination and harassment based on protected characteristics and related retaliation by faculty, staff, students, and applicants (for both employment and student admissions) (see the Policy on Prohibited Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation);
- Disability accommodation: questions or concerns regarding obligations to accommodate students should be brought to the attention of the Office of Disability Services and Programs;
- Immigration: The Office of International Services provides immigration assistance to USC students.
- Student Judicial Affairs and Community Standards (SJACS): SJACS addresses student misconduct that is not related to protected characteristics.
