Keck Medicine of USC is the university’s medical enterprise, one of only two university-based medical systems in the Los Angeles area. Keck Medicine of USC includes the Keck School of Medicine of USC, Keck Medical Center of USC, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, USC Arcadia Hospital, and USC Care Medical Group, Inc., as well as more than 40 outpatient facilities, some at affiliated hospitals, in Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Tulare, and Ventura counties.
Keck Medical Center of USC (which includes Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Cancer Hospital), USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, and USC Arcadia Hospital are each separately incorporated legal entities that operate licensed general acute care hospitals.
USC Care Medical Group, Inc. is a faculty practice plan that is used as a vehicle to deliver professional medical services to patients of hospitals and outpatient facilities affiliated with Keck Medicine of USC.
