Chris Campbell joined the Office of the General Counsel in January 2014. Mr. Campbell provides legal support to the university’s health system, known as Keck Medicine of USC, including Keck Medical Center of USC, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, and USC Care Medical Group, and to the university, advising on litigation matters, pre-litigation disputes, subpoena responses, and compliance and health care issues.
Prior to joining USC, Mr. Campbell was an associate at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher in the litigation department, where he handled a variety of litigation matters, with a focus on complex business litigation and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Campbell also advised health care clients on compliance and regulatory matters, HIPAA and privacy issues, and responding to subpoenas and other requests for information.
Mr. Campbell graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s degree in English in 1997, and earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School cum laude in 2003.
